MLP CCG Equestrian Odysseys

In Enterplay's new My Little Pony Collectible Card Game expansion-thingy "Equestrian Odysseys", there are three new Maud cards. The first (#29 / Maud Pie, Not Amused / Friend) is of Maud making a funny face, and also comes as a foil (#Pf4 / Maud Pie, Not Amused / Friend / Promo Foil).

The second (#215 / Burst of Strength / Event / Foil) is of Maud out to rescue Pinkie Pie from the memorable moment in episode 83. Equestrian Odysseys has a lot of bad cards in it subject-matter-wise, like at least two of Rainbow Dash making dumb faces and also plenty of representation from the horrid 100th episode, but there are some good ones, too, such as the "Burst of Strength" card. By the way, I've updated the Card Checklist here on the blog to include these new cards.

Maud Hasbro Figure in Stores

Just a quick post this time. I believe the My Little Pony Pony Mania Maud Hasbro figure is now available in Toys R Us stores for $9.99. Not much else to say than that.

Yep, it's definitely out. I saw it while at Toys R Us today, and though I did snag some photos, I didn't buy one because... well... just look at it:

I mean, seriously, when they had to edit this art of Maud to be smothered in flowers for the back of the box, they should have realized the design would be inferior to just a normal Maud. Also on the back is a quick blurb about Maud saying "Maud Rock Pie loves to make rock candy with her sister, Pinkie Pie!"

Funko Mystery Mini Figure Picture

A picture of the Funko My Little Pony Mystery Mini Maud figure has turned up, as you can see below.

It looks really good, and I can't wait to own one. The set is expected to come out in September with twelve figures total: Maud Pie, Apple Bloom, Scootaloo, Sweetie Belle, Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, Princess Cadance, Nightmare Moon, Shining Armor, Spike, Queen Chrysalis, and Cheese Sandwich. I've been sort of debating whether I wanted to get the Cutie Mark Crusaders' larger figures or not, but seeing as I could end up with some of the mini versions of them during my pursuit to get Maud, I'll probably skip them.
